Job description
As a fully-fledged freelance translator/copywriter you are an important part of the translation team at iSP/TransPerfect Translations. Your exceptional language skills are vital to ensuring a high quality product is returned to the client.
We are currently recruiting for the following language combination:
- English into Norwegian
Position Summary:
- Translation, editing, copy adapation and localization of documents, mainly specialization (i.e. marketing, cosmetics, beauty, fashion, retail, etc.) from English into Norwegian
- Understand TransPerfect’s quality standards and make sure they are upheld to meet the client’s expectations
- Keep Project Managers informed of project progress
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences
- Ideally language-related studies
- Native level of Norwegian
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Prior translation / proofreading experience preferred
- Ability to support multiple projects
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
